Kevin Day: the Lost Tapes

OK, so they’re not tapes and they’re not lost. But this is material that’s never been made public before, recorded at Leicester Square in the heart of London’s West End. Alt. comedy standup and writer Kevin Day – who’s written for legends Dave Allen, Ronnie Corbett and Bob Monkhouse and who writes for popular BBC TV news panel show Have I Got News for You – reflects on how he writes and performs, thinks about the late great comedy impresario Addison Cresswell and gives his judgment on the deceased American shock comic Bill Hicks.

Percussion provided by scaffold operatives and the great London rain!

This is a companion show to the special,Ā Comedy in the Capital: You’re Having a Laugh! šŸ™‚Ā in which you can hear more thoughts from Kevin Day, as well as from Maddie Campion who’s just starting out in comedy and Scott Denyer who’s taken a step back from the mike.

This edition is a footnote to theĀ Comedy in the CapitalĀ London Podcast specialĀ starring Kevin Day.
